Charlene Ross Judd was born April 10th, 1941, in Amarillo, TX and passed from this life on June 1, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was always very smart and very headstrong. At age 17 she married the love of her life, James Judd. They met at the Grace Baptist Church in Amarillo, TX. Charlene and Jim were stationed in England for several years and fell in love traveling all over the world. They and their family were active members at Grace Baptist for many years.

In later years they moved back to Jim's hometown of Lancaster, TX and lived in that area setting in Red Oak, TX. As they slowed down in the last few years, they had a caregiver named Keatrina, that they came to love with all their hearts. Because of this help from Keatrina, they were able to continue living at their home in Red Oak almost till the end.

Thanks to those at The Harrison at Heritage in Fort Worth for the loving care until the end of her life here on earth. Also, the family thanks Cindy Ross, Charlene's younger sister for all the unselfish help that she was to Charlene and to Jim. Due to her 36 years nursing experience and love for Charlene and her family she was able to get on the visitors list and usually visited three days a week. She would prepare special requested food and hand feed Charlene. Cindy also spent many hours doing FaceTime calls to Charlene and Jim's family and friends. This proved to be the last time that most of them saw each other and spoke to each other on earth.

Charlene and Jim's social life was based around church and family. Charlene and Jim had reservations in heaven bought and paid for by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know for a fact that they wanted each member of their families and each one of their friends to accept the Savior's free gift of salvation. Jesus said that it is so simple that even a child can understand.

Charlene was preceded in death by her daughter Jami Troutt and by her husband James Judd.

Charlene and Jim had three children: her daughter, Jami Troutt and husband Randy Troutt, her son Michael Judd and wife Kari Judd, her daughter Staci Mehl and husband Yaron Mehl.

Her grandchildren are Clinton Troutt, Whitney Troutt, Cody Troutt, Emily Hart, Kelly Hart, Sophia Mehl.

Charlene's siblings are Barbara Greenroyd, Bob Ross, Cindy Ross Bryant, and Charles Ross.
