    Johnny Ray Murray

    May 7, 1945 - April 23, 2019

    Johnny Ray Murray, 73, of Red Oak, Texas, passed Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Johnny was born to Willard and Jimmie Lou (Mcbride) Murray, May 7, 1945, in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Crozier Technical High School in 1963. He married Barbara in 1977, and they lived together in Dallas, Texas. Together they raised 9 children. He leaves as his legacy 8 children: James Murray, Dorothy Murray, Willard Murray, Johnnie Lou Dean, Thomas Murray, Leana Young, Anita Fisher, and Tammy Fisher. He also leaves to cherish his memory 18 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. He also leaves brother, Paul Murray, and Sister, Linda Gribble. He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Jimmie Lou Murray, first wife Vera Mae Murray, Son Steve Young, and Grandchildren Johnny Ray Murray and Sally Ruth Fisher. Johnny was an avid Hunter, Fisher, and family man. He loved being outdoors, especially with his family and close friends.
