William Henry Walker, Jr. was born August 18, 1946 in Dallas, TX to William H. Walker, Sr. and Bernese Nelson Walker. He passed from this life on April 6, 2022 in Waxahachie, TX. William loved old cars, classic music, and his favorite place was Belize. He also had a huge heart. You could call him for anything at any time, and he would be there. William could always make you laugh in the worst moment and could even make a stranger’s day. He was preceded in death by his son, Corey Armstrong; his grandson, Corey Armstrong, Jr.; his brother, Phillip Walker; and his parents. William is survived by his daughter, Mary Walker; his grandsons, Liam and Matthew Armstrong; his brothers, James Walker and Lance Wood; his uncle, Ronnie Nelson; his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Armstrong; his neighbor, Dylan Mur; his close friends, Don Lampkin and James Josey; and children he claimed as his own, John Holt, Janice Adye, and Rebecca Holt. Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of William’s life will be at graveside at 11:00am, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
