Alberto Hector Casarez of Wilmer TX., passed away on November 27, 2020 at the age of 57.
Hector was born in Mathis, Texas on August 1, 1963. He graduated from Hutchins Baptist High School and continued on to receive an accounting degree from University of Texas Dallas.
Hector is survived by his mother, Maria Casarez of Wilmer, TX, his sister, Lydia Pena and husband Michael Pena of Ft. Worth Tx, his niece, Leslie Beal and husband Robert Beal of Lancaster Tx, his niece, Nikki Clemons and husband Daniel Clemons of Ft. Worth, Tx, his niece, Aimee Pruitt and husband Dusty Pruitt of Wylie Tx, and niece, Ashley Casarez, and numerous great nieces, nephews, and friends.
Hector is preceded in death by his father, Alberto Casarez and brother Ruben Casarez.
Hector worked many years as an accountant, he enjoyed taking his family to watch various sporting events and Nascar races, he loved to travel and take adventures with loved ones as well. He was also actively involved in the Wilmer community, he served as the first Hispanic Mayor of Wilmer from 2011 to 2014. He was passionate about the youth in Wilmer and worked hard to bring in a new school for the community, he also had hopes to bring in a new recreation center for them as well. Hector dedicated his life to providing for his family. His unconditional support and love for them never wavered. He loved his nieces as his own and enjoyed watching them raise their own families. He will forever be remembered, loved and missed dearly.
