Alexander Salas Fuentes was born February 9, 1940 in Sterrett, TX and passed from this life on June 16, 2022 in Dallas, TX.

He was preceded in death by his son, Francisco Fuentes; his mother, Ignacia Salas; and his father, Sotero Fuentes.

Alexander is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Brown Fuentes; his daughter, Nancy Fuentes Esparza and husband Charles; his sons, Laurence Fuentes and Robert Fuentes; his grandchildren, Charles (Carlos) Esparza Jr. and wife Alejandra, Elisa Esparza and husband Carlos DeLeon, Alyandra Jones and husband Tyler, Elizabeth Fuentes, Desirae Fuentes, Alyssa Fuentes, Layla Fuentes, and Robert (Glen) Fuentes; his great-grandchildren, Elayna Esparza, Audrina DeLeon, Christian DeLeon, Brayden Esparza, and Liliana DeLeon; and his close family friends, Doris and Darren Hull, Manuel (Lil' Man) Alvarado.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster with burial at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster immediately following.
