Andrew J. "Andy" Roane, Jr was born January 5, 1930 in Johnson County, TX to Andrew J. and Dera L. (Taylor) Roane and passed from this life on November 3, 2019 in Winnsboro, TX.

Andy had a lot of loves. He loved fishing, hunting, and guns. Andy loved being out in the piney woods. He loved his old mutt, Dutch. But most of all, he loved listening to Frances play old hymns on the piano, especially the Old Rugged Cross.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen; his sons, Garry Roane and Larry Roane; and his parents.

Andy is survived by his wife, Frances; his son, Randy Roane and wife Pam; his grandchildren, Selena Roane, Erin Lopez, Lauren Roane, and Jared Roane; his great-grandchildren, Logan, Jalen, Bralen, and Valerie; his sister, Janell Martin; his grand-daughter in law, Tina Limsky; his step-children, Becky, Cathy, Lisa, and Paul; and many step-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home. Celebration of Andy's life will be 10:00am, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at graveside in Edgewood Cemetery, Lancaster.
