Barbara Marie Willis, 73, of Lancaster, TX. was called home and embraced by her lord and savior on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, surrounded by family at her home. She was born on April 22, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to Don and Mary (St. John) Cochran. She married Benny Willis November 13, 1964; they have been married for 56 beautiful years.

Barbara loved life and many aspects of it. She loved to shop, both cooking and going out to eat, casinos, and her dogs. She also enjoyed gospel music and movies, especially scary movies and Coal Miner's Daughter, which brought her a lot of joy regularly the last few weeks. More than any of these, she loved her family and her grandbabies most. Barbara was a simple woman who was devoted to all and would give the clothes off of her back if anyone needed them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Benny M. Willis; her son, Ricky Willis and wife Dawn; her daughter, Wendy Willis and husband Eric Montgomery; her son, Dennie M. Willis; her grandchildren, Tyler Willis, Haileigh Willis and Dalton Irby, Brandon Willis, Ivree Montgomery, Xalin Montgomery, Nexen Montgomery, Jerni Montgomery; her great-grandson, Hudson Wayne Irby; and her sister, Leatha Holloway.

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, Monday, June 1, 2020 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 2, 2020 also at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. Followed by interment at Red Oak Cemetery.
