Bryan Heard, Jr. was born June 30, 1932 in Memphis, Tennessee to Bryan & Jewel Heard. He passed from this life on February 23, 2017.
Graduated from Mississippi County High School, West Ridge, AR, "Misco" in 1951; attended Southwestern at Memphis College (now Rhodes College) and University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, majoring in electrical engineering.
Bryan joined the US Air Force as Aviation Cadet on September 3, 1953. Commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant in Air Force Reserve on October 1, 1954. Completed training as a Navigator after receiving his commission. Later promoted to 1st Lt. Left the Air Force in 1957 under honorable conditions.
Brian worked various jobs until hired by Sears Roebuck & Co. as an electronic technician. Retired from Sears in 2000.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife Margaret Ann (Montgomery) Heard; sons-in-law Mark Wallace and Tim Payne.
He is survived by children Debra Ann Heard Wallace, Sandra Lynn Heard Payne, and Mike Bryan Heard & wife Linda; grandchildren T. J. Payne, Zack Payne, Garrett Heard.
