Carolyn Elizabeth (Cordill) Fulton of Lancaster, Texas was born March 8, 1930 in Lancaster, Texas to Mary Elizabeth (Parks) and Frank Cercy Cordill. She passed from this life on October 9, 2018.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by husband Robert Fulton; sons Jerry Fulton & wife Jackie, Sammy Fulton & wife Maria; daughter Karyn Haas & husband Robert; sisters Pat Lemons, Julia Cordill; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

Carolyn was a lifetime member of The First Presbyteries Church in Lancaster. She was admired for her beautiful voice and enjoyed singing in the choir in the sanctuary she loved. Her unwavering faith has been a gift she has given her family. She was a 1947 graduate of Lancaster High School where she was valedictorian of her class. She continued her education at Austin College, SMU, and TWU. She retired from Dallas ISD after 32 years of teaching. She was well known for her beautiful handwriting which she attributed to teaching cursive to third grade students. Her love of reading led her to become a school librarian. Carolyn met Robert Fulton while she was in high school. She knew immediately he was the love of her life. Robert and Carolyn celebrated 70 years of marriage this past September. She was dearly loved and will remain in our hearts as a bright, fun, and loving wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
A private graveside service will be held.
