Carroll Ann Jameson passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas, Texas, after a short ICU stay following strokes and cardiac problems, at 83 years of age.

Carroll Ann was born in Dallas, Texas at Baylor's Florence Nightingale maternity hospital on April 28, 1938, to parents Carroll "Pat" Jameson and Amelia Neal Jameson, both of Lancaster, Texas.

Carroll Ann spent some of her early years in Lancaster, with her parents, aunts, uncles, maternal grandparents, Charley and Annie Neal, and cousins. Her Aunt Bill Jean Smith and cousin Patricia Smith Clamon would often send cards, notes which Carroll Ann enjoyed.

In the 50's the Jameson family moved to the Preston Hollow area of North Dallas. Carroll Ann attended public school and other special schools to help with congenital speech problems. Her neighbors Mike and Molly became life-long friends.

Carroll Ann moved to assisted living in Rowlett shortly before Amelia's passing in 2005. Her Dad passed in 1976. She enjoyed many new friends and staff and activities and occasional field trips organized by assisted living.

Carroll Ann was a proud "Taurus the Bull" and was enthusiastic about the things she loved, her dogs, cats, doll collection, country music, Elvis Presley, Western Movies, the Dallas Cowboys, bingo, jigsaw puzzles, wearing lots of bracelets and necklaces, celebrating birthdays, and the many friends she made wherever she was.

Over the years, Carroll Ann relocated to Arbor House and Broadmoor Medical Lodge as her needs progressed. A fall and broken hip caused Carroll Ann to use a wheelchair but that did not slow her down. She often made the rounds at Broadmoor to drop in other residents to visit, and at at times delivered the mail to help the staff. Carroll Ann wanted to go back to Broadmoor and was looking forward to a cup of coffee and carrot cake with her friends, staff and caregivers to celebrate her return!!

Graveside service will be at 11:00am on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Edgewood Cemetery, Lancaster.
