Casimira Perez Pena was born on July 18, 1945 in Yorktown, TX and passed from this life on March 20, 2023 in Lancaster, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father, Doroteo Perez Sr.; her mother, Margarita Perez; her brothers, Benino, Doroteo Jr, and Adon Perez; and her sisters, Gertrude Torres and Adelaida Porras.

Casimira is survived by her daughters, Salvarina Pena Mares and husband Rigoberto, and Casey J. Pena; her grandchildren, Anthony Toby Pena and wife Briana, Lariza Etheridge and husband Juan, and Lissette Mares and husband Michael; her great-grandchildren, Leiah Pena, Mario, Nathan, and Leeland; her brothers and sisters, Elida P. Munoz, Margarita P. Ramirez, Mary Pachecano, Julia Perez, Gloria Juarez, Paula Espinosa, Linda P. Herrera, and Albert Perez.

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary beginning at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster with interment immediately following in Edgewood Cemetery.
