Cathey Elaine Bowman was born October 13, 1948 in Dallas, Texas and passed from this life on Saturday June 14, 2025 in Waxahachie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Pace and Vema Lay; and her sister, Patricia.

Cathey is survived by her beloved husband, Roger Dale; her children, Janet, Jeff, and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Kayla, Cassidy, Natalie, Neely, Aiden, and Elizabeth; and her great-grandchildren, Abbie, Darian, Caleb, Damien, Delilah, Stella, Delaney, Hudson, and Daxton.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster with a graveside service following at 2:00pm at Edgewood Cemetery.
