Charles Lee "Charlie" Ward's Obituary
Charles Lee "Charlie" Ward was born July 31, 1942 in Waxahachie, Texas to David and Rosa Williamson Ward. He passed from this life on March 24, 2017.
Charlie was preceded in death by parents; brother Dean Ward.
He is survived by son Paul Ward & wife Rosaella; granddaughter Chelsea Ward & husband Hagan Holloway; great granddaughter Addison Holloway; sisters Mary McDowell and Betty Brewer.
Charlie had a passion for classic cars and drag racing, but his favorite times were spending time with friends and family. After being raised in Lancaster schools, he spent his life in the area working as a truck driver and a small business owner. After bravely battling cancer for two years, on Friday, March 24th, 2017, he peacefully drifted into the arms of "the Man upstairs".
No funeral service scheduled.
