Charles (Chuck) Dean McComb suddenly passed away and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 27, 2020 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 20, 1951 in his parent's home in Terrell, Texas to John Dean (George) McComb and Callie Juanita Stroman McComb who preceded him in death.

He married the love of his life and soulmate, Janie Lou Moore McComb on June 30, 1972. He signed up for the Navy on the day he turned 18. He was on an aircraft carrier off the shore of Vietnam launching and landing air force fighter jets for two years. He worked for Sears in a warehouse for 23 years, worked for several HVAC companies driving a box truck delivering parts until 2010 when his health began to deteriorate. In 2013, he chose to have dialysis treatments so he could spend all the time he could with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Lou Moore McComb; his son, Stephen Thomas McComb and wife, Allison Green McComb; his grandchildren, Trent McComb, Andrew McComb, Brooklyn McComb, and Everlee McComb; his sisters, Bonnie Accord, Peggy Jarrad and husband, Billy Jarrad; and several nieces and nephews.

Chuck loved his wife of 48 years, his son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews dearly as they all loved him dearly. He will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Chuck's life will be at 12:00pm Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Patrick Baptist Church in Ferris.
