Charles Aulderson Franklin was born December 28, 1944 in Dallas, TX and passed from this life on November 10, 2025.

Charles was a little bit of a social butterfly. He loved to laugh and was a big jokester. He loved helping people and volunteering at the VA Medical Center. Charles loved his fellow Masons and being involved at the Masonic Lodge in Lancaster. Some of his greatest loves were animals and drawing. More than these, he loved taking his children and grandchildren on family vacations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Frank Franklin and Leveta Medley Franklin.

Charles is survived by his children, Chuck Franklin, Tammy Cox, Kent Franklin, and Jesse Franklin; his grandchildren, Dillon, Chad, Courtney, Jessica, Kasey, Kayla, and Jacob; 5 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Junior, Doug, and Deborah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Charles' life will be at 4:00pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Lancaster Masonic Lodge.
