Charlie Wilkins Hope, 91 years old, of Wilmer, Texas was born January 17, 1926 in Titus County, Texas to Charlie Andrew and Vida Mae (Horton) Hope. He passed from this life on November 9, 2017.
He served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Charlie married Cora Lee Nelson on July 27, 1946 in Rockwall, Texas.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; son Jerry W. Hope; sister Lena Reno; brother Willie D. Hope.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years Cora Lee Hope; son James Hope & wife Janice Kathryn; daughters Jackie Berg, Judith Smith & husband Sammy, Janet Evans & husband Jimmy; daughter-in-law Janice E. Hope; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren.
