Obituary

Clifford Earl Williamson was born on April 6, 1959 in Houston, Texas and passed from this life on July 24, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lindsay Williamson; his parents, Aldon and Helen Willamson; and his grandmother, Helen Lewis.

Cliff is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Laurie; his sister, Nancy; his brother, Daniel; his nieces, Brittney, Audrey, Autumn, and Ali; and his nephews, Austin, Chase, Corey, and Nick.

Cliff: a husband, dad, brother, uncle, and friend.

He was a man of God and more importantly, a student of life. He enjoyed the simple things like watching the Cardinals and Barn Swallows dance across the sky as he masterfully grilled for his wife, Laurie. He enjoyed the brisk cool air of fall knowing that the TCU Horned Frogs would be back in action ready to defend the Carter. He enjoyed his 36 years at Halliburton guiding and mentoring the next generation. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and his precious dogs whether that be driving four hours to see his niece, Autumn, perform in her high school's marching band, touring both SMU and TCU with his niece Brittney, silently hoping she picks his Horned Frogs, or relaxing poolside with his family.

Cliff's call to Heaven will leave us empty, but those who knew him well will find solace in that he is cheering us on from the Heavens. Yet, when we need him most, he will appear as a Cardinal or Butterfly reminding us to soar high and free.
