Cynthia Ann Perez was born June 2, 1967 in Kaufman, TX to Joe Valdez, Sr. and Veronica Martinez Garcia. She passed from this life on August 24, 2022 in Dallas, TX surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Veronica Martinez Garcia.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Gerardo Perez; her son, Gerardo Joe Perez; her daughter, Veronica Perez; her father, Joe Valdez, Sr.; her grandchildren, Jasmine Perez, Vanessa Perez, Adriana Perez, Arriana Perez, Alan Zamarron Jr, Reina Zamarron, Denise Perez, Gerardo Joe Perez Jr., and Gerarado Joe Perez, Jr; her brother, Joe Valdez, Jr.; and her sister, Delores Ochoa.

Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster with interment immediately following in Rawlins Cemetery, Lancaster.
