David Eugene Vest was born July 23, 1966 Waxahachie, TX and passed from this life on July 9, 2024.
David was an amazing husband, a beloved father, an outstanding PawPaw, a loving uncle, brother, and friend. He was a hard worker who loved providing for his family. He gave 100% to everything he did. Most of all, David was a man of faith who was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rachel Vest; and his brothers, Kenneth, Billy, and Donald Vest.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Sherry; his son, Justin Vest; his daughter, Jennifer Vest Gonzalez and husband, Jesse; his grandchildren, Lorenzo M. Gonzalez, Alexander R. Gonzalez, and Angelina I. Gonzalez; his brother, Gary Vest and wife, Carmen; his sister, Pam Odle and husband, Monroe; and many extended family and friends.
A celebration of David's life will be at 5:00pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Zimmerman officiating.
