Dolores Boehringer Aston, 85, of Red Oak, TX was born on April 10, 1937, to the late Helen (Hall) and Edwin Boehringer. She passed from this life surrounded by her family at home on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Dolores was a lifelong resident of Lancaster, TX up until the last five years which were spent in Red Oak with her children. She loved growing up on the family farm. Dolores was a devout member of the Episcopal church and St. Martins in Lancaster was home. She was employed with Cokesbury and Laurel Land for a period of time, but the majority of her working years were spent with Lancaster ISD where she retired. She met the love of her life, Bobby, in November 1960, and in 1961 they began their family.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of over 54 years Bobby; her parents, Edwin and Helen Boehringer; her brothers, Sonny (Nita) and Charlie Boehringer; and her grandson, Allan Harris.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Harris & Lynn Harris; her son, Michael and wife Sherry Aston; her grandchildren: Danielle Thompson, Justin Aston, Destinee (Brett) Davis, Joshua Harris (Melissa), and Rachel Harris. Dolores also leaves behind four great-grandchildren who were the apple of her eye: Presley and Baylei Thompson and Rylyn and Gracie Petty; her sister-in-law, Peggy Boehringer; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Byrum Funeral Home. A celebration of Dolores's life will be at 11:00am on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
