Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She grew up in Lancaster as a child and young adult, where she met her husband of 65 years, Allan. She started dating Allan and eventually got her parents approval to get married where they soon bought there first house in Lancaster. Several years later Doris and the family moved to Austin Texas. She loved central Texas, where she would spend the remaining days of her life.
Outside of the family, Doris loved to antique shop and find cool collectible items, with a dream of one day having an antique shop. She was also a lover of pets; dogs, cats, birds, she loved them all. She also loved to be pampered and get her hair and nails done, even to her last days.
We are thankful that Mom no longer suffers from the pain her body endured and know she is now in a better place, yet she will be missed by all that loved her and she loved, and we will always remember her life she shared with us.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris's name to the Alzheimer's Association so that we can continue to do research and find a cure for this horrible disease.
