Dorothy Lee Edith Fleeman was born October 25, 1928 and passed from this life on February 7, 2023.

Dorothy was a woman of strong faith. She prayed with and for anyone and everyone. Not only did she pray fervently, but she was also open and accepting of everyone. Dorothy was kind, complimentary, generous, and uplifting to others. As if these qualities were not enough, she was a good listener, loved cooking for others, and had an incredible sense of humor. Dorothy was also a pioneer for other business women. She owned her own business for over 40 years before passing it down to her daughter and son-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde and her daughter, Carolyn Johnson.

Dorothy is survived by her granddaughters, Tracey Johnson and Jennifer Shirey; her son-in-law, Larry Johnson; and her great-grandson, Jamie Shirey.

Family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with a celebration of Dorothy's life beginning at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
