Edward Eugene Hill was born July 15, 1952 to Austin Lewis Hill and Thelma June (Beaty) Carl. He passed suddenly from this life on January 25, 2017.

Ed was preceded in death by his father Austin Hill, mother Thelma Carl and step-father Ryle Joseph Carl.

He is survived by wife Sharon (Edwards) Hill of Red Oak; son Dennis Hill of Thackerville, OK; daughters Lisa Brownfield & husband Chris of Shreveport, LA, Shannan Harper & husband Lonnie of Red Oak, TX; step-childen Lisa Branch and Robert Lummus of Durant, OK; one brother Clarence Hill & wife Loleta of Mabank, TX; one sister Sandra Gregg of Rockwall, TX; grandchildren Mason Branch & wife Ashley, Candace Berryhill & husband Brett, Lillian Little, Sterling Harper, Kathryn Little, Cheyanne Little, Courtney Harper, Katlyn Hill, Zippora Hill and Zoey Hill; great grandchildren Tanner, Reyd and Marleigh; brother-in-laws Jack Shaw and James Shaw; nieces Kim, Pam and Tammy; and nephews Danny, Daniel, Aaron and Robert.

Ed was an incredibly loving person. His wife, kids and grandkids were his world. He was always trying to make others smile and most certainly had a joke that needed to be told; even if it wasn't a good one. He enjoyed cooking, collecting, watching old westerns on tv, playing with his puppies and most of all; spending time with his friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The memorial will take place at the House of Praise located at 1264 N Interstate Hwy 35 E in Waxahachie, TX.
