Ernesto was preceded in death by parents; son Orlando Ray Cantu; brother Al Cantu. He is survived by wife Mary Louise (Lopez) Cantu; sons Ernest Cantu, Jr. & wife Tangie, Michael Anthony Cantu & wife Mikki; daughter Erica Porter & husband Walter; sisters Martha Ortiz, Olga Pena, Rosemary Butterfield-Lea, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Irasema Ritter; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
