Eunice Myrle Sandling was born June 8, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Albert and Cora Sandling and passed from this life on October 16, 2024 in Lancaster, Texas.
Eunice grew up in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1958. For many years, she was on the Lancaster Cemetery Association Board, a member of the Lancaster Genealogical Society, the Lancaster Historical Society, and the Lancaster Friends of the Library. Eunice loved hunting and fishing when she was growing up as well as just being outside. She attended nearly every high school reunion and enjoyed knitting, spinning, and crocheting. Eunice was all things Lancaster. She loved the land, the farms, the Town Square, and Lancaster's many shaded streets that embraced anyone who traveled down them. More than all of these, Eunice loved her many animals especially Jesse and Coco who gave her so much pleasure and comfort.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Albert and Cora Lee Sandling.
Eunice is survived by numerous cousins as well as a host of extended family and friends who enriched her life.
A celebration of Eunice's life will be at 11:00am on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Pavilion in Edgewood Cemetery.
