Frances H. Goodman's Obituary
Mary Frances Hyder Goodman, 91, of Red Oak, Texas, gained her angle wings December 1st, 2017.
Born April 6th, 1926 in Minden, Texas to the late Bessie Mae ( Rodgers) and John L. Hyder.
Raised in Minden, Texas, she attended business school in Dallas, where she met and married the love of her life, Samuel Ray Goodman Jr on April 8th 1949, until his death on December 14th, 1995.
They moved to Lancaster, Texas in 1959 with their daughter Lisa.
Frances was a life long member of First Baptist Lancaster and was City Secretary for over 20 years, retiring in 1992. She was a beloved member of the community.
Survived by her daughter Lisa Goodman Henley of Red Oak.
Granddaughter, April Velazquez and husband Rene of Red Oak.
Grandson, Cody Fincher of Glenn Heights
Grandson, Glen Adams of Santa Barbara California.
5 great grandchildren, Sasha and Julian Velazquez, Jaiden and Jorden Fincher and Daniella Thompson.
Brothers, William Hyder and wife Melanie of Kerens Texas, John Lynn Hyder and wife June of Murchicon Texas.
