Francisca "Pancha" Campos went to be with the Lord on April 8,2020 at the age of 82 due to ongoing medical complications. She was a strong woman of Prayer and Faith who faithfully served God and will be dearly missed by Church, Family and Friends alike.
She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas throughout her teen years. She resettled and began a new life in Lancaster, Texas in the mid 80's and was vividly known for her upstanding Mexican food cooking skills…namely "tamales" for which she had an award winning secret recipe. She was passionate for the Word of God and Her new found Faith in Christ of whom she and her husband, Alfredo Campos, enjoyed sharing to those who would be willing to listen.
It is by no coincidence and just fitting that she and her sister, Rosario Ramos, left this earth to be with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on this Holy week 2020. They (sisters) were happiest together when they would talk about the Life giving Word of God (Bible).
Francisca is preceded in death by her parents Maria C. Martinez and Filiberto Martinez; brothers, Candelario (Dora) Martinez, Gumerzindo Victor (Maria) Martinez, Porfirio (Sara) Martinez; and sisters, Rosario (Ramon) Ramos and Josefina Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, Alfredo Campos of 40 years; four children, Roberto (Lulu) Soto Jr., Manuel (Carmen) Soto, Hermelinda (Oscar) Meza and Ricardo Soto. She is also survived by her siblings, Daniel (Dora) Martinez, Gilberto (Luz) Martinez, Joe (Susan) Martinez, Domingo Martinez, Melba Martinez and Maria Martinez; lastly, she is survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
