Francisco Javier "Peier" Chavez was born February 22, 1980 in Dallas, TX to Gonzalo and Maximina Chavez and passed from this life on May 10, 2020 in Lancaster, TX.
Francisco was the first born to Gonzalo and Maximina. Not only did he give her the joy of being a mother, "mom" was the first word out of his mouth. Francisco had many loves. Fishing, drawing, and food were some of his favorites. He was a jack of all trades. Francisco was a barber, a cook, a jokester, and a very intelligent man. He was always smiling and always willing to give in any way he could. Francisco not only loved his many godsons, nieces, nephews, and son, but was also loved greatly by them.
He was reunited in death with his brother, Omar; his nieces, Marely Hernandez and Julissa Lopez; and his nephew, Julian Chavez.
Francisco is survived by his son, Francisco Chavez, Jr.; his parents, Gonzalo and Maximina; his sisters, Beatriz Chavez and husband Cesar, Sonia Chavez and husband Junior, Christina Chavez and husband Ramiro; his brothers, Gonzalo Chavez Jr. and wife Candie, Gerardo Chavez and wife Hannah, Felipe Chavez and wife Roxanna; and 22 nieces & nephews.

Visitation/Rosary will be held Wednesday May 13, 2020 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Chavez Family Home. The address is 3104 Van Rd., Lancaster, TX 75146.
