Gordon Lester Graves of Lancaster, Texas was born September 13, 1934 in Italy, Texas to Cynthia (Cockerham) and Lester Merrick Graves. He passed from this life on November 29, 2019.
Gordon grew up on a cotton farm. He graduated from Italy High School and attended Navarro Junior College. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University.
Gordon was a resident of Lancaster since 1964. He was very active in the community and was a longtime member of the Lancaster Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Nadine (Reagan) Graves; daughter Dr. Julie Graves; daughter Dr. Tina Graves & her husband Herb Baumann; granddaughter Dr. Caroline Moy.
