Hershell Franklin Ryno, age 85, a resident of Lancaster, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Hershell was born the son of Delmar A. Ryno and Ola Fay Armstrong (Ryno) on December 21, 1933. He was a 1950 graduate from Blooming Grove. After graduation, he started mechanicing. He served 1 tour in the US Army stationed at Fort Hood as an auto mechanic. Hershell started working for Chuck Fairbanks of Desoto,Texas when Chuck Fairbanks took over the dealership in 1980. He retired from Chuck Fairbanks Chevrolet of Desoto,Texas serving in numerous capacities. He was a strong Democrat. He enjoyed fishing, gossiping, reading the daily paper and talking on the phone.
Survivors include his son-in-law, Frank Scharschell of Platte City Missouri, his sister Velma Garrett of Waco Texas, his grandchildren Rebecca and Jeff Haley of Brookfield, Missouri; Jeremy and Chansea Harris of Harker Heights,Texas; Brandon and Therese Scharschell of Platte City Missouri; Jerad McKeithan of Dallas, Texas; Misty and Stevan Garcia of Balch Springs, Texas; Kattie McKeithan of Forney,Texas; Paige Spurlock of Balch Springs Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Delmer A. Ryno; mother, Ola Fay Armstrong; brother James Ryno; and two daughters, Patricia Scharschell and Latricia Spurlock and former wives, Kattie Ryno and Beth Ryno.
