Hobert Wayne "Hobie" Howell's Obituary
Hobert Wayne Howell, Jr. was born November 12, 1938 in Waco, TX to Hobert Wayne and Lillian Noel (Wible) Howell and passed from this life on October 14, 2021.
He devoted most of his life to the freight business retiring after almost 50 years of service. After graduating from Waco High School, he went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock where he grew into the biggest Tech fan ever! His man cave covered in red and black would prove nothing less.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renae Howell; his sister, Sue Elaine Herring; and his parents.
Hobie is survived by his loving wife, Diane Howell; his son, Jeff Howell; his daughter, Delia Kiehn and husband Rene'; his grandchildren, Emily and Hayden Howell, Sebastian and Nicholas Kiehn; his nephew, Travis Herring; and his nieces, Shelle Honeycutt and Claudia Babb.
A graveside service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, TX.
