Inez G. Pena was born January 21, 1935 in McAllen, TX to Jose and Guadalupe (Vega) Garza and passed from this life on November 14, 2020 in Wilmer, TX.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angel V. Pena.

Inez is survived by her children, Jose Angel Pena and wife Esperanza, Rosa Pena Arroyo and husband Noe, Mario Luis Pena and wife Maria de Rosario, Maria F. Garcia and husband Eleuterio, Inez P. Trejo and husband Jose Andres, Guadalupe P. Rodriguez and husband Rafael, and Victor M. Pena; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 15 brothers and sisters; and numerous extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be at 1:00pm, Friday, November 20, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster, TX with interment immediately following in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in DeSoto, TX.
