Jack A. Winner was born June 8, 1932 in Wilsonville, Nebraska to Glenn and Garva Winner and peacefully passed from this life on May 8, 2026 in Palmer, Texas.

He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandpa. He was a devoted Christian that loved the Lord dearly. He was devoted to his wife Patsy Winner of 44 years. He was a hard-working man that worked his entire life up until the day the Lord called him home. He worked for Randy's meat company for around 30 years. Then, he started selling cars in the late 70's and continued up until his passing. When he was not working, he loved watching John Wayne westerns or yelling at the Dallas cowboys and Texas Rangers. He left all of us with a lifetime of stories and memories that we will share.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Winner; his sister, Glenda Miller; and his grandsons, Corbin Neal McManus and Cary David McManus II.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Patsy Winner; his children, Cary McManus and wife Teri, Kit McManus and wife Stacey, Kara Dickens and husband Vince, Jackie Dilday and husband Gary, Linda Tapley, and Debbie Winner Scott and husband Gerald; his grandchildren, Cody McManus and wife Courtney, Katelynn Christian and husband Joey, Carson McManus and wife Olivia, Parker McManus, Taylor Dilday and wife Raquel, Lacie Martin, Ryan Tapley and wife Ashley, and Randy Tapley; his great-grandchildren, Kooper & Kennedi Christian, Hudson McManus, Ayden & Memphis McManus, Makayla & Kason Martin, Everliegh & Waylon Dilday, and Xander & Logan Tapley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of Jack's life will be at 10:00am on Saturday, May 16, 2026 also at Byrum Chapel with graveside immediately following in Edgewood Cemetery.
