Jacquelin Adell Barnett was born on July 15, 1936 in Dallas, TX to the late Dale Rigby and Kathleen Ruth Patterson Rigby. She attended high school in Lancaster, TX and college at Texas Christian University.

She married Alsey James Barnett on February 18, 1956 while he was serving in the U.S. Navy.

After the Navy service in California, they moved back to Texas residing in Irving, then Colleyville, and finally retiring on Lake Bob Sandlin in East Texas.

She retired after 30 years of civil service at the Air Force Civil Engineer Service in Dallas. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Irving, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Alsey James Barnett; her son, Terry James Barnett; her daughter, Leslie Gail Doering and husband Steven; her granddaughter, Monika Barnett; her granddaughter, Cassidy Marsh and husband Dillon; her grandson, Mason Doering and wife Bethany; her great-grandchildren, Evan and Raegen Marsh; her sister, Kay Grafe of Jupiter, Florida; and her two nieces and their families.

Celebration of life for Jackie will be at 11:00am on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster with visitation beginning at 10:00am.
