James Phillip Fields was born August 19, 1939 in Dallas, TX and passed from this life on July 18, 2024 in Red Oak, TX.

James loved the Lord. He loved his wife, Judy, and he loved his family. James was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, and he'll be missed by all those who loved him!

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Fields; his mother, Eddie Halterman; his late wife, Betty White Fields; his daughter, Cristi Renea; and his brother, Leon Fields.

James is survived by his wife, Judy F. Fields; his sisters, June Barcelo and Peggy Villanueva; his brother, Jerry Exline; his children, Jarrod Lampier, Jason Lamier, Janay Lampier, Jeremy Lampier, David Hamm, Laura Miller, Nancy Pinto, Paula Cook, Doanna Powell, and Phil Fields; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at New Beginnings Bible Church in Ferris, TX with a celebration of James' life beginning at 1:00pm.
