James was preceded in death by parents; sons John Knight and Daniel Knight. He is survived by wife Mercedes Knight; sons James Otis Knight, III & wife Alma, Richard Knight, David Knight; daughter Beth Knight, step-daughters Ana Yeager Jason, Fel Yeager; brothers Herbert Knight, Richard Knight & wife Sue, Donald Knight & wife Katherine; 14 grandchildren.
