James Mark Wiseman was born on November 11, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. He passed from this life on March 22, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. Mark grew up in Lancaster, Texas. Wiseman Hardware in DeSoto, Texas was his livelihood from 1978 until he retired in 2025.

Mark married Nina Marie Little of DeSoto, Texas on August 21, 1981. They had two children, James Andrew and Lisa Marie. He attended the Church of Christ. Mark loved God and Jesus and his family very deeply. He enjoyed watching football and golf and also traveling.

He was preceded in death by his dad and mother, James Otis and Audrey Wiseman; and his grandson, Ezra Eggleston.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife of almost 45 years, Nina Marie Wiseman; his son, James Andrew Wiseman; his daughter, Lisa Marie Eggleston and husband Caleb Scott Eggleston; and his granddaughters, Etta Marie and Faye Eloise Eggleston who he loved and adored.

The family will received friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster. A celebration of Mark's life will be at 10:00am on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Ovilla Church of Christ. A graveside service will be at 1:00pm following the service at Rawlins Cemetery in Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mark's name to Ovilla Church of Christ.
