Jessie Grace Coppedge Crabtree Mercer was born on September 16, 1928 in Dallas, TX and passed from this life at her home on October 2, 2023 in Lancaster, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Voss and Sarah Grace Coppedge; her husband, Albert James Mercer; her sister, Serena Lou Anthony; her daughters, Deborah Lou Brimage and Rebecca June Fullerton; and her grandson, David Shawn Brimage.

Jessie is survived by her son, Phil Marvin Crabtree and wife Donna; her daughter, Kathy Ann Crabtree; her son-in-law, David Lee Brimage; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Family will receive friends from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Byrum Funeral Home. A celebration of Jessie's life will be a graveside service at 1:00pm on Friday at Edgewood Cemetery following the visitation.
