Obituary

Joaquin Cruz "Quincho" Figueroa was born November 1, 1967 in El Salvador and passed from this life on November 2, 2022 in Wilmer, TX.

Quincho was a hard worker. He was a truck driver for many years. He was also in the Salvadorian Military, and he loved seafood, mostly fish! Quincho was a good man. He didn't care about your social status, the amount of money you had, or your background. He loved everyone he met, especially his family and his wife of 25 years. Quincho would give you the shirt off of his back without hesitating. He didn't anger easily and sought humor instead. No matter the cost, he would step up to help a loved one in need without question.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joaquin Figueroa, Sr; his brother, Juan Figueroa; and his mother-in-law, Teresa Ramirez.

Quincho is survived by his wife, Olivia Figueroa; his son, Alex Figueroa; his daughter, Liz Hernandez; his daughter, Victoria Hernandez; his son, Alexis Figueroa; his daughter, Juanita Figueroa; his daughter, Juana Figueroa; his sister, Sandra Figueroa; his brother, Rolando Figueroa; his mother, Maria Cruz Figueroa; and his grandchildren, Saira, Hector Jr, Genesis, Mariela, Jonathan, and Dylan.

Family will receive friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with a celebration of Quincho's life beginning at 12:00pm also in Byrum Chapel.
