Obituary

John Stanley Chadwick was born May 3, 1941 in Dumas, TX to John and Margaret (White) Chadwick and passed from this life on November 16, 2020 in Dallas, TX.

John was a member of First Baptist Church in Hutchins, TX. He was the unofficial king of "Dad jokes" and loved to laugh out loud and enjoyed the laughter of others. He was a humble man that studied the Holy Bible and was very intrigued with end time prophecies especially the Book of Revelation. He was a man of prayer, and was known to spend hours in prayer crying out in thankfulness for all he had been afforded. He had a very giving heart and a charitable spirit eager and willing to give to various needs around the world. He was the personification of a faithful father, and he infused himself into the lives of his children spending hours on basketball courts, football fields, and baseball diamonds to encourage their lives. He was married to the love his life Maxine Chadwick, and reflected Christ's love for the church in marriage. He longed for the day when he would meet his Lord and Savior Jesus, face to face. His desire was that everyone he met would have the opportunity to know the love of Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ada Maxine Chadwick.

John is survived by his children, Scott Chadwick and wife Peggy, Michael Chadwick, Bryan Chadwick and wife Carmen, Alicia Tubbs and husband Kavin; his grandchildren, Kodiak Chadwick and wife Cynthia, Joe Chadwick and wife Jenny, Caleb Chadwick, Charles Tubbs, Sabrina Klomp and husband Matt, Noah Tubbs and wife Samantha, and Nathan Tubbs; his great-grandchildren, Garrett Chadwick, Bethany Chadwick, Joshua Tubbs, Ethan Tubbs, Carter Tubbs, Juniper Klomp, Amos Klomp, and Maple Klomp.

Celebration of John's life will be at 10:00am, Saturday, December 5, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Hutchins.
