Our beloved John Joseph Lee was born on November 11, 1969, and passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at his home in Lancaster, TX. He was 55 years old.

John was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, and his first wife, Penny. He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria; his children, Matthew, Jessica, Joel, Karla, and Andrew; his loving mother, Mary; and his siblings, Lisa, Daniel, and Jody.

John was a straightforward man, known for his honesty, generosity, and devotion to his family. He honored life by spending time with his loved ones, embracing learning, and engaging in his many hands-on activities. Whether fixing, building, or creating, John had a way of putting care into everything he touched. He will be remembered for his quiet strengths, his sharp wit, and his unwavering love to those closest to him.

If there is one thing to know about John, it is that through his deep commitment to life and learning, he showed his family that efforts in education and growth are never in vain. John didn't believe in limitations. He never wavered in following his dreams; instead, he braced himself for the opportunities he chose to create for himself and his family. His example continues to inspire his loved ones to learn, grow, and live fully— and for this, we will always honor him!

Family and friends are invited to honor John's life on September 29, 2025, with a viewing at 12:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life service at 1:00 PM at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Dermott Cemetery in Dermott, Arkansas.
