Johnny G. Herrera was born September 2, 1957 in Dallas, TX to Leocardio Herrera and Esther Garcia and passed from this life on August 19, 2023 in Dallas, TX.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Clara Sanchez Herrera; and his sons, Hesiquio J. Herrera, Patrick B. Herrera, John G. Herrera, and Rodrigo Carbajal.
Johnny loved being home and peaceful. He enjoyed watching all movies depicting war and combat. He loved to pray, he loved his guns, and loved to talk about history. Most of all, he loved his family dearly.
Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be at 10:00am on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Dallas.
