Jose R. Alvidrez was born September 21, 1956 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Francisco Antonio and Maria Rodriguez Saenz Alvidrez and passed from this life on October 6, 2019 in Dallas, TX.

Jose was a generous, humble, hardworking man. He loved to travel. He also loved to read all kinds of books but mostly history books and his Bible. Jose didn't know any strangers. He loved talking to anyone that crossed his path. Most importantly, Jose was a loving husband and sweet father who loved his grandchildren more than anything.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his daughters, Crystal Rodriguez and husband Francisco, Maria Fernandez and husband Nestor; his son, Jose Alvidrez, Jr. and wife Diana; his grandchildren, Kimberly Rodriguez, Nestor Fernandez, Jr., Grecia Fernandez, and Francisco Rodriquez, Jr.; 9 brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
