Joyce Ann Cheshier Murdock was born December 16, 1938 in Dallas, Texas and passed from this life on July 28, 2024 in Dallas.

Joyce graduated from Lancaster High School in 1955. She and Willard were married shortly after on October 6, 1956. Joyce was a long time florist and had Michael's Florist in Cedar Hill.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Willard Murdock, Sr, and her parents, Estiel William Cheshier and Hester Lucille (Barger) Cheshier.

Joyce is survived by her son, Mike Murdock and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Justin & Ashley, Jared & Amanda, and Jessica & Wade; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10:00am on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Rawlins Cemetery in Lancaster.
