Joyce Annette Hail was born March 29, 1941 in Granbury, TX to Albert and Liddie Burgess and passed from this life on March 12, 2025 in Lancaster, TX.

Joyce spent her life enjoying her family, hand quilting, and watching for hummingbirds. She loved being outside gardening and was well known for Texas' best chicken fried steak! For all of these reasons and more, her sassy spirit will be dearly missed by all who loved her!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hail, Sr. and her son, Michael Lee Hail.

Joyce is survived by her children, Andrew Hail, Victoria Garza, Thomas Hail, and Wendy Jackson; her grandchildren, Michael, Sheena, Ryan, Brian, Ricardo, Roberto, Patricio, Jennifer, Albert, Brittni, Wilson, Nicholas, and Alyssa; her 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be a graveside at 10:00am on Thursday, April 3, 2025 in Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster.
