Julia Montes Recendiz Garza was born January 15, 1965 in San Luis, Mexico to Gorgonio Montes and Caritina Recendiz and passed from this life on July 9, 2020 in Red Oak, TX.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jose Garza; her children, Yuliana Davila, Karina Davila, Ursulo Davila Jr., and Jeniffer Montes; her grandchildren, Ismael Candelas, Dayana Sanchez, Ivan Candelas, Iliana Sanchez, Leeanna Castillo, and Anaya Sanchez; her siblings, Blas Montes, Flavia Alcocer, Andres Montes, Roberto Montes, and Merced Gonzalez; and many extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be at 3:00pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Red Oak Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
