Karen Horn Rodgers was born March 13, 1963 in Sylacauga, Alabama to Robert Leonard and Barbara Jean Horn and passed from this life on January 10, 2024 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by her family.

Karen graduated from Lancaster High School. She retired from AT&T after 41 years of service. As her children, nieces & nephews, and their kids would attest, Karen was the biggest fan and the loudest supporter at all of their sporting events and fundraisers. One of her long-time loves was Alabama Football! The only thing she loved more was spending time with her children, her grandchildren, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara and her brother, Greg Horn.

Karen is survived by her son, Matthew Rodgers and wife, Kelsey; her daughter, Tiffany DuBose and husband, Blake; her granddaughters, Emersyn and Georgia Rodgers; her father, Robert Horn; her sister, Debbie Frazier and husband, Milton; her brother, Robert Horn and wife, Gayle; her brother, Rodney Horn and wife, Terri; her sister, Sharon Coe and husband, Russell; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster. A celebration of Karen's life will be immediately following at 1:00pm also in the chapel. Interment will be private for family only at Edgewood Cemetery.
