Leona E. Saunders of Waxahachie, Texas was born September 23, 1930 in Graysville, Tennessee to Robert Franklin and Sally (Neal) Green. She passed from this life on November 21, 2018.
Leona was preceded in death by parents; husband Ottis Earnest Saunders, Sr; son Ottis Earnest Saunders, Jr; daughter Sally Kathleen Hellner.
She is survived by sons Alfred Larry Saunders, Robert Lewis Saunders; daughters Elizabeth Carol Saunders, Lisa Faye Furshee, Sharon Diane Taylor, Rose Marie Edmonds; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in the Summer Grove Cemetery, Shreveport, LA.
