Leroy Thomas Russell was born April 12, 1930 in Corsicana, TX to Thomas and Callie (Britton) Russell. He passed from this life on October 14, 2019 in Gilmer, TX.

Leroy had many loves. He loved to go coon hunting, bowling, and dancing, especially square dancing. More than anything though, he loved the women.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Canzada Marie Russell; his second wife, Mary Lou Russell; his son, Ricky Roy Russell; and all of his siblings.

Leroy is survived by his daughters, Beckey Bethel, Vickie Hensley and husband Robert, Deborah Snell, and Pat Davis; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, October 18, 2019 in Trinity Cemetery, Wilmer.
