Linda Gail Fehmel, 40, of Red Oak, Texas, surrounded by her family and friends, died peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022. Linda was born in Dallas, TX on November 2, 1981 to Paul Richard Fehmel and Mary Alice Fehmel. She had been declining in health for the last year; she spent her last hours with her loving family by her side.

Linda grew up in Red Oak, Texas and graduated from Red Oak High School where she played softball and volleyball. After graduation, Linda attended The University of North Texas in Denton. Linda loved to travel and hanging out with her friends, and although she wouldn't say it out loud, spending time with her dad. She was a die-hard Texas Rangers fan. Pudge Rodriguez was her favorite player of all time. Linda was an animal lover from birth. She has three dogs and a cat, especially Miller who passed away last year.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary Alice Fehmel and her older sister, Mary Anne Fehmel.

She is survived by her father, Paul Fehmel and wife Cathy; her brother, John Paul Fehmel and wife Yajaira, and their daughter, Charlotte Evangeline Fehmel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth's Church, Dallas, TX. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Nokomis Road, Lancaster, TX. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 17 at 6:00pm with Rosary following at 7:00pm at Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster.
